Old Man Thompson's latest collection finds him traversing a somewhat new terrain. Songs about meeting strange creatures on country tracks, reclining poets in art galleries and a desperate voyage to a far flung seaport all form part of this new assembly. Musically we find OMT in a somewhat pastoral mood with the addition of chamber strings and piano - a departure from the simple guitar driven tunes of his first two records.

The first instrumental track simply entitled "Introduction" was inspired by an old Bakelite tenor recorder and sets the scene for the voyage that follows, leading us gently into a bizarre world of characters and places. Buckle up people and come along for the ride!
